He is survived by: his children, Philip (Kimberly) of New Brighton, MN, Andrew (Jacqueline) of St. Paul, Steven (Brenda) of Sioux Falls, SD and Ann Burfeind (Florian) of Vancouver; and his grandchildren, April Knower (Chuck), Elizabeth, Betsy Burfeind, Adriana, Harli Mulder (Craig), Carl (Miranda) and Austyn.
