He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhardt Holst and Leona Holst (Williams); his brother James Holst; and his son Brian Holst. He is survived by: his wife Janice Corson; his daughter Shari Brunner (Paul); his grandchildren, Brandon, Adam, Logan, Alexis Holst, Robert and Kali Brunner; and his siblings, Cheryl Corson (LaVern), Barry Holst (Gloria), Sharon Holst (Chris), Larry Holst (Brenda) and Sandy Grommesch (Dave).
