He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Diercks and Esther Diercks (Vieths); his grandparents, John, Katherine Diercks, William and Mary Vieths; his siblings, Rebecca Diercks and Gail Diercks; his nephews, Brent Diercks and Jonathan Matthees; and his siblings-in-law, Janelle Diercks, Ray Matthees and Marvin Jurgens.
He is survived by: his siblings, Rita Jurgens of Chanhassen, Marcia Matthees of Cannon Falls and Gary Diercks (Phyllis) of Goodhue. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces and great-nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to donor's choice.
