He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles O'Neill and Georgina O'Neill (Clements); his in-laws, Clarence and Rose Colstrom; his brother George; his sister-in-law Sue O'Neill; his nephew Tim O'Neill; and his brother-in-law Gerald Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy of Joseph's Catholic Church; his children, Daneen Kiger (Sean), Cyle, Cory (Hanna), Colby, Kim Goplen (John), Matthew, Marcus, Michael, Amy Corum (Scott), Maggie, Cecilia, Bryan O'Neill (Katie), Hannah, Emma and Lucas; his siblings, Ruth Peterson, Rose Cyert (Bob) and Howard O'Neill; and his sister-in-law Sue Johnson (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Holy Trinity-St. Columbkill Cemetery Fund or the Goodhue Area Historical Society.
