He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Billie MacPherson of Fredonia; his great-great-grandparent Abial Wood; his sister-in-law Barbara; his children, Susan Jirele (Raymond), Margaret Franzen, Stuart Carleton (Genette), Jacqueline Noy, Bruce Carleton (Diane), Douglas Carleton (Debra), Juan Carleton (Elisabeth), Steven Carleton (Christina) and Bryan Carleton (Vilayvanh); his sister Mary; his brother-in-law Jim Glick; his brothers, Richard and William; his son-in-law David Noy; and his grandson-in-law Joseph P. Morey. He was also cherished by 35 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
