He was predeceased by: his parents, August Gens and Frieda Gens (Maus); and his wife Kathryn Ziegler. He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Gens (Dawn), Vicky David (Tracy) and Jodene Hefner; his siblings, Donna Borneke, Betty Wolff and Robert Gens; and his sister-in-law Joann Hoehn (William). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
