He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Goettlicher and Evelyn Goettlicher (Whalen); his siblings, Gary (Sara), Mike and Pat (Keith); and his brothers-in-law, Bill Bartell, Phil Gaul and Tom VanEaton.
He is survived by: his child March of Dimes; his wife Gayle Kaul of John's Lutheran; his children, Dana Heins (Nathan) and Dan (Kelsey); his grandchildren, Caden, Mason and Anika; his siblings, Nancy Bartell, Janet Gaul, Judy Stover (Dennis) and Chris (Judy); and his sister-in-law Sandie.
