He was predeceased by: his father Elmer Halvorson; his grandparents, Bennie, Elise Halvorson, Oliver and Esther Walberg; his parents-in-law, Maxine Sorenson and Ted Hamm; and his nephew Jason Sorenson.
He is survived by: his mother Mavis Halvorson Marcus (Walberg) of Prinsburg; his wife Stacy Halvorson; his children, Brandon Halvorson (Erin) of Erskine, Brittany Halvorson of Fosston and Cody Halvorson of Gully; his grandchildren, Alexa, Kyleigh, Tayla, Amari, Ambree, Kohen, Maddox and Kolt; his siblings, Bradley Halvorson of Bemidji and Ranae Vakoch (Mitch) of Gully; his father-in-law Larry Sorenson (Jeanie); his brothers, Bob Wagner (Julie), Cory Moy (Debbie) and Jeremy Moy (Connie); and his niece Sydney of Gully.
