He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Pletschett and Esther Pletschett (Godtland); his brother Shorty Pletschett (LeRoy); his grandson Tom Pletschett; his sister-in-law Carol Johnson; and his son-in-law Lonny Gunderson.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Johnson; his children, Ellie, Vonda Gunderson (Jason) of Galesburg, ND, Jeff Pletschett (Jenny) of Gonvick, MN and Scott Pletschett (Verena) of Clearbrook, MN.; his grandchildren, Jordan Lendway (Grace), Dustin Lee (Lauren), Jeremy Pletschett (Kelly), Shelby Krueger (Mitchell), Nikki Lee (Seth), Taylor Pletschett, Tom Lewis (Kristi), Kristin Lee (Logan), Nick Lewis (April), Tanner Pletschett (Carlie), Allison Lewis and Jacob Gunderson; his siblings, Evon Quern (Gary) and Richard Pletschett (Debbie); and his parents-in-law, Ron Johnson and Mary Hoft (Mike).
