He was predeceased by: his son John; and his siblings, Eileen Nuebert, Betty Woods and Norman Hansen. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his sons, Dan (Mardi), Dave (Joan), Bob (Cathy), Joe (Julie) and Paul (Kim); and his daughter-in-law Sammie. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
