Sheila Paisner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sheila Paisner of Golden Valley, Minnesota, born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 17, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Hy Paisner; her parents, Henry Sigesmund and Lillian Sigesmund of Winnipeg; her brother Arnold Sigesmund of Los Angeles; her sister-in-law Anne Katz of Winnipeg; and her cousins, Dr. Dave and Arline Bloom of St. Louis Park.
She is survived by: her sons, Martin (Judy), Barry (Charleen), Joel (Liz) and Richard (Jamie); her great grandchildren, Jacques, Sage, Scarlett, Raoul, Jena, Micah, Maggie, Liesette, Alex, Natalie, Tom, Noah, Monique, Jasper and Sascha; her niece Lainie Sigesmund Etzioni; and her caregiver Carrie Williams. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and their spouses.
The family requests donations made in memory of Sheila Paisner be directed to the Minneapolis Jewish Federation, the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota & the Dakotas, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
