He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Silverman and Mary Silverman; his brother Howard Silverman; and his wife Artice Silverman (Marofsky). He is survived by: his children, David (Haya), Dan (Bertha), Debra Yardley (Avi) and Diana Avital (Gil); his sister-in-law Jacqueline Royce; and his cousin Joel Shinder. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
