John Patrick Montague Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Patrick Montague Sr. of Golden Valley, Minnesota, who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Montague (Jack) and Gale Montague (Johnson); his wife Donna; his siblings, Steve, Jim Montague, Susan Knotz and Linda Carlson; and his brother-in-law Jim Halloran.
He is survived by: his children, John Montague and Danielle Montague; his grandchildren, Evan, Elle, Abbey and Henry; his siblings, Patty Johnson, Dick Montague (Patti), Colleen Morrow (Tom), Jeanne Habstritt (Randy) and Tom Montague (Louise); his sister-in-law Colleen Decelles; his children-in-law, Dawn Montague and Tim Ogg; and his pets, Goldy, Scout and Winnie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be collected by the family for the donation of a permanent gift to his golf club.
