He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Mahlum and Emma Mahlum (Frisvold); his son Joey Mahlum; and his sisters, Edwina Gebeke, Donna Larsen and Gloria Hagen.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Mahlum (Jean) of Glyndon, MN, Jeffrey Mahlum of Dilworth, MN and Shirleen Wyland (Roger) of Glyndon, MN; his brother Virgil Mahlum; and his brother-in-law Gary Hagen. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Service (409 8th St S, Moorhead, MN 56560). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
