He is survived by: his wife Lois Ann; his children, Mark David (Linda), Trent Allen and Lee Ann (Curt Senger); his grandchildren, Bethany Menholt (Ross), Angela Escher (Justin), Michelle Helling (Matthew), Tyler Bekkerus (Emily), Morgan Bekkerus, Nicole Bekkerus, Dana Boehmlehner (Austin) and Taylor Oberg; his great grandchildren, Peyton Boehmlehner, Kaden Menholt, Jase Menholt, Hudson Escher, Max Escher, Willa Escher, Wesley Bekkerus, Deacon Bekkerus, Graeme Bekkerus and Mason Bekkerus; and his sister Margaret Harkness. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
