It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert D. Messerschmidt of Glyndon, Minnesota, born in Moorhead, Minnesota, who passed away on February 8, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Messerschmidt and Clara Messerschmidt (Brusch); his spouse Ardyce Osmundson; his daughter Sherri; and his brothers, Edward, Loren "Mickey", George and Roy.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Messerschmidt and Jodi Timme; his grandchildren, Mark Messerschmidt (Ariana), Christine Hutton, Brady Timme (Katlin) and Matthew Timme; and his siblings, Gordon Messerschmidt (Tonya) and Clarene Buttenhoff (Ed). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
