He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Aaron and Gladys Evelyn Ward (Aaberg); his sister Ardis (Richard Henry); his nephew Thomas Kahl; and also, Albin, Delores Olson, Shirley "Snookie" Robideaux, David Olson and Alan "Beaner" Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary of Starbuck; his children, Joe Ward (Ashley) and Ruth Ward; his grandson James Ward of Glenwood; and his siblings, Aaron Ward (JoAnn) of Riverside, CA and Rosella "Tootie" Anderson (Ron) of Starbuck. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
