He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Kelly" Hanson and Lillian Hanson; his daughter Jana Colette; his parents-in-law, Pete and Agatha Hornstein; his siblings, Carole Matthiesen (Colette) and Roger Hanson; and his brothers-in-law, Rick Gulstad, B. R. Hornstein and Dave Christesen.
He is survived by: his wife Colette Hanson of Glenwood, MN; his sons, Mike Hanson of Benson, MN, Eric Hanson (Theresa) of Rochester, MN and Dan Hanson (Stacy) of Woodbury, MN; his grandchildren, Thomas Hanson of Minneapolis, MN, Andrew Hanson of Ankeny, IA, Maria Hanson of Rochester, MN, Abby, Ben and Will Hanson of Woodbury, MN; and his sister Kathy Christesen of Blaine, MN. He is also survived by his cousins, in-laws, many beloved nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
