He is survived by: his wife Mary Adolphsen of Glenwood; his children, Lisa Peterson (Lynn) of Glenwood, Bryan Adolphsen (Becca Gill) of Alexandria, Sally Scott (John) of Glenwood and Elaine Deisz (Justin) of Glenwood; his grandchildren, Aaron Peterson (Morgan Yetter), Kassidi Ehresmann (Dalton), Hunter Bangsund (Nathan), Tyler Matzke, Amber Matzke (Brandon Dolman), Brendon Scott (Samantha), Travis Scott (Brittany Welling), Matthew Adolphsen, Makayla Gill, Zachary Adolphsen, Ryker Bangsund, Westin Ehresemann, Sawyer Scott and Wyatt Bangsund; his great grandchild June; and his sister Geraldine Nowling of Sauk Centre. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
