He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernt Johnson and Clara Johnson (Jergenson); and his siblings, Julian, Irwin, Burton (Myra), Phillip Johnson (Virginia), Opal Gerde (Fred) and Elaine Moe (Leslie).
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Burnson; his children, Barb Brower (Rick) of Alexandria, David Johnson (Robin) of Little River, Gary Johnson (Jeri) of Glenwood and Bryan Johnson (Amy) of Glenwood; and his grandchildren, Amy Zenner (Eric), Melissa Brower, Becky Melton (Chad), Mike Brower (Lindsey), Megan Castles (Austin), Ellen Wood (Addison), Katie Macho, Karie Lange (Jon) and Riley Johnson. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
