He was predeceased by: his father Marvin; his wife Beverly Imes; and his daughter Jodi. He is survived by: his sons, Vern Kortgard (Vicky) of Willmar, Jerry Kortgard (Kristin) of Excelsior and Del Kortgard (Paula) of Granite Falls; and his son-in-law Pete Kuiken of Starbuck. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
