Marlene O. Braun Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2024, at the age of 74, Marlene O. Braun of Glenwood, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellert Mithun and Marlys Mithun (Alsaker); her husband Stephen Braun; her siblings, Maisie Mithun and Ervin Mithun; her nieces and nephews, Patricia Schumann, Becky Krone (Braun), Danny Braun Jr. and Lief Olson; and her brother-in-law Richard Olson.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Braun (Tina) of Montrose, Tina Kwakenat (Robert) of Buffalo and Kimberly Goings (Aaron) of Mankato; her grandchildren, Samantha, Karina, Steven, Christian, Mara and Molly; her great grandchildren, Kaidyn, Tyler, Jaaron, Archer, Jaaxon and Scarlet; her siblings, Helen Rannow (Tim) of Blaine, Gary Mithun (Barb) of Maplewood and Nancy Armstrong (David) of Glenwood; and her pets, Toby, Chance and Kapton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home - Glenwood Chapel (122 1st Ave NE, Glenwood, MN 56334). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at the Glenwood Lutheran Cemetery Memorial (206 Minnesota Ave E, Glenwood, MN 56334).
Marlene's generous heart extended beyond her immediate circle as she crafted beautiful items for charity, sharing her warmth with those in need.
