He is survived by: his mother Gail Nelson (Gruse) of Sauk Centre, MN; his wife Cindy Nelson of Glenwood, MN; his children, Chris Nelson, Derek Nelson of Glenwood, MN and Marina Nelson of Clearwater, FL; his sisters, Brenda Sarlette (Marty) of Melrose, MN and Patti Nelson (Bruce Riedner) of Morris, MN; his siblings-in-law, Steven Kleespies (Julie) of Kelliher, MN and Robyn McNally (Joe) of Morris, MN; and his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Shirley Kleespies of Morris, MN. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
