She was predeceased by: her parents, Sade Olivia (Lange) and Jasper Arthur Ladd; her son Daniel Grote; her sisters, Patricia Mae and Joann Janet Frantum; and her daughter-in-law DeAnn Hofstad Grote.
She is survived by: her husband Donald William Grote; and her children, Brian Grote of Sabin, Randy Grote of Glenwood, Kara Jean Schultz (Wes) of Alexandria, Thomas Grote of Las Vegas, NV and Mary Danielson (Eric) of Starbuck. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.
