She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Simek and Josephine "Josie" Kalina Simek; her husband Harvey Martinek; her son Alan Martinek; her sister Marcella Brezina (Wencil); her brother-in-law Otto Brezina (Lillian); and her daughters-in-law, Shirley Drake Martinek and Sherilyn Schmidt Martinek.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis (Linda) of Glenwood, Jerry (Marlene) of Burnsville and Janel Benesh (Darrel) of Forada; and her grandchildren, Lisa Jergenson (Al), Angela Martinek, Kelly Howe (Josh), Shelly Scott (Steven), Mike Martinek (Erin), Paul Martinek, Abby Blumhardt (Joe), Drew Martinek (Hina), Joe Benesh (Jenn), Jess Wymore (Ben) and Emily Benesh (Michael Schmitt). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
