He was predeceased by: his parents, James Brown and Inga Brown (Teigen); his wife JoAnne Lyon; his siblings, Gary, Harley, Jerome, Ray (Violet), Robert (Blanche), Bruce, Dorene Miller (Michael), Doris Shaw (Bud) and Donna Aaberg; and his siblings-in-law, Jerome Lyon (Jackie), Joseph Lyon, Randy Knoll and Janice Brown.
He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Kallas (David) of Ingleside, IL, Laura Helgeson (Jim) of Elk River, MN and Linda Helvick (Paul) of Richfield, WI.; his grandchildren, Brittany, Josh, Benjamin, Sophia, Margaret, Melanie and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Parker, Audrey and Malin; his siblings, Joyce Moen of Cyrus, Gilman (Alice) of Andover, Dick (Dode) of Anoka, Ronald of Long Prairie and Alan (Jean) of Sauk Rapids; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Brown, Judy Buckhouse (Jim), Jean Knoll (Klaus), Mary Bruun (Mark), Kathy Lyon, James Lyon (Marlene), John Lyon (Norma) and Thomas Lyon (Karla). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a community of friends.
