With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward George Henry Hanssen of Glenville, Minnesota, born in Fonda, Iowa, who passed away on March 12, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Anna J. Hanssen; his siblings, Peter Hanssen, John Hanssen (Minnie), Theodore Hanssen, Tena Hanssen, Clarence Hanssen (Emma), Martin Hanssen, Sena Courter (Donald), Robert Hanssen and Louie Hanssen (Norma); his nephew Bill Courter; his parents-in-law, Rea and Mary Wallin; and his brothers, Verl (Vera Wallin), Merlin (Susie Wallin), Lyle (Arlene Wallin) and Dale Wallin (Arlo Wallin).
He is survived by: his wife Violet; his children, MaryAnn Allison (Tim), David Hanssen and Paul Hanssen (Brenda); his granddaughter Vanessa Arnold (Casey); his great grandchild Harper; his grandchildren, Christopher Allison, Alissa Allison, Mackenzie Hanssen and Rachel Hanssen; and his sisters-in-law, Julie Wallin and Irma Wallin. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
