He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal Baseman and Dorothy Baseman (Westfall); his siblings, Jane Rousey, Duaine Baseman and Robert Baseman; his brother-in-law Dean Lemkau; his grandson Cody Baseman; his stepdaughter Michelle Bettin-Bren; and his wife Diane Baseman.
He is survived by: his former wives, Nancy Hoeve and Diane Brandvold; his children, Corina Baseman of Glenville and Wade Baseman (Kari) of Lenox, Missouri; his stepsons, Dan, Pat and Rick; his siblings, Rodger Baseman (Barbara) of Glenville, Lyle Baseman (Faye) of Ely, LeRoy Baseman (Alane) of Glenville, Daryll Baseman (Marlene) of Albert Lea, Germaine Lemkau of Aurora and Caroleen Edgar of Ankeny, Iowa; and his sister-in-law Lynda Baseman. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
