She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinhold Schmidt and Elda Schmidt (Stender); and her close friend Harlan Ische. She is survived by: her sister Marlys Lindeman (Vern) of Glencoe; her nieces, Dana Lindeman of Cologne and Darcy Akerberg (Lars) of Carver; and her great-nephews, Logan Akerberg and Cody Akerberg.
