He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ray, Alvina Benton, Herb and Mabel Raether; his uncle Denny; his aunts, Mary Forsberg, Barbara Benton, Candy Benton and Dolly Raether; and his cousins, Kyle Benton and Jason Koepp.
He is survived by: his parents, George Benton and Janice Benton (Raether); his sister Kim Nemitz (John); his nieces, Kelli Dahlman (Ryan) and Michelle Nemitz (Tyler Guest); his great-nieces, Alexis Dahlman, Skyler Dahlman and Ava Dahlman; his great-nephew Zach Damlow; his uncles, Phil Benton (Charleen Goslar), Mike Benton (Betty), Jim Benton (Janice) and Robert Raether; his aunt Karen Koepp (Larry); and his cousins, Shane Benton (Janis), Leigh Cohrs (Joel), Craig Benton, Eric Benton (Mary), Kristopher Forsberg, Ryan Forsberg, Michaele Nelson (Mark Steen), Kris Stradtmann (Mark), Jesse Koepp, Mike Koepp (Jane Alsleben) and Crystal Robinson (Richard).
