He is survived by: his wife Verna Kunkel of Glencoe, MN; his children, Robert "Bob" Kunkel (Lori) of Glencoe, MN, Sandra Kunkel of Plato, MN, Larry Kunkel (Donna) of Glencoe, MN and Kraig Kunkel (Tammy Mathwig) of New Auburn, MN; his grandchildren, Andrea Mueller (Jeff) of Plato, MN, John Kunkel (Kari) of Glencoe, MN, Lisa Schwartz (Chris) of Wayzata, MN, Alex Kunkel of Glencoe, MN, Kristina Fillbrandt (Kenny) of Glencoe, MN and Katelyn Kunkel (Tim Woolston) of Brookings, SD; his great grandchildren, Charles, Myles, Kora, Vera, Jane and Josephine; his stepgreat-grandson Justin; and his sisters-in-law, LaVonne Kaufmann, Alice Kaufmann, Lornalee Kaufmann and Daun Kaufmann. He is also survived by Nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends, and extended family.
