With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria L. Mielke of Glencoe, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lester Mielke; her parents, Herbert Wendlandt and Ella Wendlandt; her parents-in-law, Edward and Alvina Mielke; her brother Harlan Wendlandt (Ruth); and her siblings-in-law, Alvin Mielke (Rosella), Norman Mielke (Glenna) and Clara Scharpe (Herbert).
She is survived by: her children, Neil Mielke (Lorraine) of Cologne, MN, Rhonda Bonderson of Bastrop, TX and Connie Beneke (Dave) of Victoria, MN; her grandchildren, Darin Mielke (Angie), Dawn Strief, Brett Mielke (Trish), Troy Bonderson, Tracy Bonderson, Tiffany Wrobleski (Andy) and Tyler Bonderson (Stephani); her great grandchildren, Chase Mielke, Annika Mielke, Emily Strief, Evan Strief, Gaby Mielke, Lexi Mielke, Devon Bonderson, Austin Bonderson, Marissa Bonderson, Kylie Schwartz, Lexi Wrobleski, Ryker Wrobleski and Brooklyn Bonderson; her great great grandchildren, Kole Strange, Tucker Strange and Archer Bonderson; and her friend Geraldine Bergs. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (1820 Knight Ave N, Glencoe, MN 55336). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at the Glencoe City Cemetery.
