She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurence Oppelt and Louise Oppelt (Wenzel); her nephew Lance Oppelt; and her brother-in-law Tom Severson. She is survived by: her husband Don Severson of Glencoe; her daughters, Jessica Richardson (Nathan) of New Auburn and Tami Severson of Glencoe; her grandchildren, Desiree, Annika and Caleb; and her siblings, Charles Oppelt (Elva) of Elkton, SD, Ruth Christensen of Omaha, NE and Betty Sween of Brookings, SD. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
