She was predeceased by: her parents, Christoph Hanson and Marie Hanson (Thiesfeld); her husband Elroy Witthus; her siblings, Lucille Herzog (Wilbert), Clarence Hanson (Dorothy), Aurelia Werth (Fred), Mary Olson (Virgil), Arnold Hanson (June) and Arlene Hanson; and her brother-in-law Ronald Emich.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Witthus of Glencoe, MN, Steven Witthus (Rhonda) of Glencoe, MN and Sandra Meier of Hutchinson, MN; and her sister Doris Emich of Nicollet, MN. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren, Many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel (1222 Hennepin Ave N, Glencoe, MN 55336). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church (925 13th St E, Glencoe, MN 55336).
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society.
