It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles W. Ponath of Glencoe, Minnesota, who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ponath and Marion Ponath (Augustine); his son Bruce Ponath; his parents-in-law, Edwin and Myra Lustman; and his brother-in-law Ron Lustman.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Lustman of John's Lutheran Church; his children, Brian Ponath (Cheri) of Hutchinson and Julie Johnson (Todd) of Chanhassen; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Ponath of Belle Plaine; his grandchildren, Kelli Fernholz (Matt), Kati Rolloff (Dane), Amanda Cooper (Seth), Taylor Ponath, Maxwell Ponath, Mason Ponath, Kellen Johnson (Colette), Anna Stelter (Andrew) and Abby Johnson; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Grady, Bryn Fernholz, Clarence, Lucy Rolloff and Finn Cooper; and his sister Muriel Todd (Duane) of Danbury, WI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
