It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Stanley Lauwagie (Gibbon, Minnesota), who passed away at the age of 91, on October 13, 2020. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Lauwagie; his son Stanley Lauwagie, Jr.; his grandchildren, Brandon and Devon Lauwagie; his siblings, Alice Stippel, Rose Schwab, Aggie Schiltz, Harlan Lauwagie and Harry Lauwagie; and his parents, Frank Lauwagie and Octave Lauwagie (Schoutteet).

He is survived by: his children, Patricia Schreiner (Tom) of St. Peter, Barbara Bruns (Tim) of Gibbon, Elizabeth Grewe (Brian) of Gibbon, Howard Lauwagie (Charlene) of Gibbon, Tom Lauwagie (Ellen Knoke) of Eau Claire, WI, Tim Lauwagie (Pam Gentry) of Hector and Bob Lauwagie (Karie) of Mankato; his sister Mary Ryan; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Lauwagie, Lori Grosklags and Richard Grosklags. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Social distancing guidelines must be practiced, and all guests in attendance at the visitation and funeral will be required to wear a mask.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Alzheimer's Society.
