It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Messner (Gibbon, Minnesota), born in New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on April 28, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her former husband David Halvorson; her husband Billy Messner of Gibbon, MN; her son Jeff Halvorson (Tina); her grandchildren, Jessica, Brittany and Brad Halvorson; her great grandchildren, Brandon and Greg Halvorson (Brenda); her grandchildren, Joshua, Jake and Molly; her siblings, Karen Sommers (John) and Douglas Kreft; her sisters-in-law, DonnaBelle Nelson, Marcelle Dapper, Barbara Mattes, Carol Ann Messner and Many; and also, Jennifer, Jade, Chance, Kevin Halvorson (Tanya), Jed, Jenny, Kimberly, Rick Messner (Brenda), Tyler, Shelly Knobloch, Trevor, Brittany, Troy Messner, Shylo Hilbert, Brooklyn Gutknecht, Jackson Messner, Noah Messner and Collin Lofthus. She is also survived by Many Great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
