It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Welvaert (Ghent, Minnesota), born in Marshall, Minnesota, who passed away on October 11, 2019, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Welvaert and Mary Welvaert (Claeys); his brother Dean; and his brother-in-law Don Thooft. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patti" Thooft; his children, Chauncey Welvaert (Daniele), Courtney Pohlen (Devin), Caysi (Chris Blanchette), Caytlin (Mike Miller) and Chelbi West (Matt); and his grandchildren, Kaleb (Axel Welvaert), Quinn, Kelleigh (Cael Pohlen), Addelyn Blanchette and Kai Miller (Boston West). He is also survived by siblings, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
