It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Leroy Lestrud (Geneva, Minnesota), who passed away on June 6, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Lestrud and Clara Lestrud (Jensen); his stepchildren, Tammy Praska and Michael Anderson; his grandchildren, Krista Lynn Moffiet and Joseph Roberts; his great grandchild Tanlyn Spooner; and his brother Jimmy Lestrud.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his daughters, Theresa Luna (Scott), Annette Lestrud (Dan Gibbons) and Cathy Lestrud (Tim Somnis); his stepdaughters, Kathleen Talamates and Brenda Weitzel (Mike); his son-in-law Donny Praska; his grandchildren, Joshua Luna (Angela), Chelsey Lloyd (Mike), Stephan "Bud" Jr. Navarro (Lydia Torres), Nash Navarro, Katelyn Caron (Brandon Hieronimus), Tevin Lestrud (Jade Johnson), Bailey Mitchell, Stephanie Talamantes (Darrin Duryee), Ryan Talamantes, Nicole Talamantes, Adam Wyant (Sherry), Brandon Roberts and Mitchell Anderson; his sister Joyce Henderson (J. R.); his sister-in-law Linda Lestrud; and his pet Jaxx. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and one on the way; two great-great-grandsons.
