Kellie Merlene Peterson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 10, 2023, at the age of 60, Kellie Merlene Peterson of Geneva, Minnesota, born in Albert Lea, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Jack Kalstad; her grandparents, Carl, Zelma Kalstad (Seuser), Edmond and Shirley Conn (Jenson); her son Gordon Thompson; her father-in-law Chris Peterson; and her siblings-in-law, Vicky Peterson and Chad Peterson.
She is survived by: her husband Rodney Peterson; her sons, Jack Thompson (Natalie) of Glenville and Sam Thompson (Heather Johnson) of Rochester; her mother Judith Kalstad (Butch Donovan) of Geneva; her sister Kari Kalstad (Brad DeRouchey) of Prior Lake; her nephew Cole Lenort (Caitlin Matson); her nephew Ross Lenort of Prior Lake; her mother-in-law Elaine Peterson (Kiley) of Albert Lea; her siblings-in-law, Terry (Ann Peterson) and Pam Sorlie (Peterson) of Albert Lea; and also, Collins of Geneva, Tom Lenort of Clarks Grove, Breanna (DeRouchey), Jeb Jenkins of Elko, Myah, Hayden and Lauren DeRouchey (Slade Sifuentes) of Prior Lake. She is also survived by her colleagues, her community, her friends, and her family.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Naeve Health Care Foundation in the name of Kellie Peterson which will benefit the Albert Lea Cancer Center, or to the Community Lutheran Church of Geneva, MN.
