He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Sr. Kuphal and Esther Kuphal (Podratz); his wife Janice Kuphal; his parents-in-law, John Arnold and Florence Monson; his son-in-law Larry Harbarth; his siblings, Deloris Swanson, Irwin Kuphal, Sid Kuphal, Albert Kuphal and Martin Kuphal, Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Young, Fay Ulrich, Merlyn Monson, Roland Monson and Darroll Monson.
He is survived by: his daughter Barb Harbarth of Gaylord, MN; his grandchildren, Paula Wolter Mattson (Todd), Rick Harbarth (Pam) and Becky Harbarth (Jon Suedbeck); his daughter Betty Kuphal (Linda Hallen) of Brooklyn Park, MN; his granddaughters, Katie Kuphal and Kristine Kuphal; his son Gary Kuphal (Carol) of LaCrescent, MN; his grandchildren, Ryan Kuphal (Shelby), Eric Kuphal, Erin Gerhardt (Peter) and Kristin Fee (Joe); his son Greg Kuphal of Gaylord, MN; his grandchildren, Kevin Kuphal (Crystal), Tracy Kuphal-Strand and Tim Kuphal (Jenna); his siblings, Doris Martens of Gaylord, MN and Karl Kuphal (Sue) of Gaylord, MN; and his sister-in-law Cecelia Eliason (Many) of Willmar, MN. He is also survived by 29 Great Grandchildren, Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
