He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Kahle and Lillian Kahle (Maixner); his wives, Grace Christle and Florence; his son David; and his granddaughter Taylor.
He is survived by: his brothers, Fred and Roman; his children, Patricia Lamb (Larry) of Arlington, MN, Pauline Wittenberg (Lyle) of Brooklyn Park, MN, Tom Kahle of Gaylord, MN and Michael Kahle (Rob) of New York City, NY; his grandchildren, Krista Santillana (Billy), Kerry Kroells (Dan), Katharine Lamb, Rhyannon Kahle, Matthew Kahle and Tyler Wittenberg (Chassey); his great grandchildren, Marcus, Briana Santillana, Garrett, Morgan Kroells, Jonathan, Ryan Lamb, Jacob Frauendienst, Connor Kahle, Linkoln, Navi and Luna Wittenberg; and his daughter-in-law Sylvia Kahle.
