He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" and Kathryn "Kitty" Ryan (Kiernan); his wife Rita Magner; his son Michael; his grandson Jason; his great grandchild MaKaila; his parents-in-law, Mike and Esther Magner; his sister Jeanette Weldon; and his siblings-in-law, John Weldon, Jim Nolan, Mike "Bud" Magner, John Magner, Pete Campbell and Helen Campbell.
He is survived by: his children, Jack Ryan (Louise) of Woodbury, Pat Ryan, Terry Ryan (Janelle) of Gaylord, Maureen Bullert (Fred) of Gaylord, Sheila Henke (Rich) of Arlington and Joann Wickenhauser (Ron) of Cologne; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Nolan, Francis Magner and Leona Magner. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, one great great grandson.
