He was predeceased by: his grandson Steven Alexander Monroe; his parents, Roland Kranz and Emily Kranz (Trout); his parents-in-law, Leonhard and Esther Becker; his siblings, Lorraine Freyholtz, Roger, Ernest, Byron, Steven and Luther; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Dahlke, Betty Cohrs, Ella Rickheim and Larris Freyholtz.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kranz (Becker) of Gaylord, MN; his children, Alexandra Monroe (Curtis) of Lawrenceburg, KY, Preston Kranz (Rebecca) of Horace, ND, Mitchell Kranz (Jessica) of Gaylord, MN, Ruth Williams (Jeramiah) of Gaylord, MN, Luke Kranz (Stacey) of Gaylord, MN and Barrett Kranz (Kassandra) of Delano, MN; his sisters, Arlene Jacobson (Gene), Virginia Briard (Robert) and Cheyenne Bernstein (Jerry); and his siblings-in-law, Connie Kranz, Darlene Kranz, Laura Kranz, Sharen Kranz, Michele Kranz, Donna Schiro (David), Joanne Uecker (Dan), Ellsworth Becker (Helen), Sylvan Becker (Sandy), Duane Becker (Monica), Luverne Becker, Bill Dahlke, Roger Cohrs and Many. He is also survived by 28 Grandchildren; 1 Great granddaughter.
