He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward H. Pinske and Sidonia Pinske (Wolff); and his siblings, Bob, Chuck and Mary Ellen.

He is survived by: his wife Arlene Bartels; his children, David Pinske (Cathy), Lora Sunder (Gregg), Lynn Pinske, Paulette Lenz (Mark) and Ned Pinske (Lezlie); his great grandchildren, Henrik, Audrey, Samuel, Eloise Lenz, Anabelle, William Aubrey, Miles, Nina Sunder and Gwyneth Sunder-Bratz; his siblings, Lois Pinske and Tom Pinske (Olive); his nephew Barre Pinske; his close friend Ian Sing; and also, Aaron Lenz (Melissa), Emily Aubrey (Ryan), Jon Mark Lenz (Hillary), Joseph Sunder (Kate), John Erik Sunder (Inés), Jennifer Sunder-Bratz (John), Katrina Pinske, Erich, Isabelle and Eva Pinske. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.

Arlene and family, I was the grateful beneficiary of Pete’s friendship for the last 20 or more years; he was such a happy and a jolly man, so proud of his woodworking, construction projects, beekeeping, his family, his Central Minnesota roots, and his beloved Rotary Club of Gaylord, MN. You have my deepest sympathy and many happy memories.. I hope to be there on Friday to say a final goodbye.”
