He was predeceased by: his parents, George Messner and Esther Messner (Miller); and his brother LeRoy Messner. He is survived by: his wife Mona Kintzi; his children, Sara Kuhn (Keith), Dan Messner (Karen), Kari Terwey (Russ) and Jeff Messner (Jeni); and his grandchildren, Jeremy, Preston Kuhn, Lukas, Ellie, Matt, Nick Messner, Jack, Sam Terwey, Ava, Henry and Ruby Messner. He is also survived by three nephews, three nieces, many great nieces, and great nephews as well as a great-great nephew.
