With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Zabel of Gaylord, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2024 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Zabel to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Zabel and Selma Zabel (Vinkemeier); his wife Marilyn; his brother Daryl; and his brother-in-law Jack Harens.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Zabel (Deann Sparks) of Peru, IN, Debra (Dan Haas), Melanie (Carl Hallin) and Natalie (Roger Paul); and his sister Lois Harens (Les Bening) of Arlington. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
