He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Klukas and Mable Klukas (Witte); his son Jess; his parents-in-law, Edward and Irene Doerr; his sister Mavis Rischmiller (Wayne); his siblings-in-law, Eldonna Doerr and Dale Doerr (Sarah); and his stepfather Werner Kreuger.
He is survived by: his wife Avis Doerr of Gaylord, MN; his sons, Shad (Doug Stewart) of Saint Paul, MN and Josh (Jennifer); his granddaughters, Gabrielle and Madeline; his sister Geri Klukas of Glencoe, MN; and his aunt Ruth Doerr of Hutchinson, MN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
