With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert George Ramstad of Gary, Minnesota, born in Crookston, Minnesota, who passed away on February 26, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ramstad and Emma Ramstad (Ohman); his wife Gloria Sunderland; his daughter Karen Leigh; and his friends, Ann and Rueben Airhart.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene Sandstrom (Doug) of Longville, MN, Ann Marie Kindseth (Bruce), Big, Laurie Stein (Jon), Bob Ramstad (Cindy) of Ada, MN and Jim Ramstad (Shelly Brunner); and his sister-in-law Shirley Ramstad. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
Funeral: 1:00 PM, Monday, March 8, 2021 at Fredrikson-Ganje Funeral Home in Ada, MN, with a maximum capacity of 50 percent occupancy, following all of the Minnesota and CDC COVID-19 social distancing guidelines. All must wear a mask to attend.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Benedictine Care Community of Ada, Hospice of the Red River Valley, or Gary Lutheran Cemetery.
