He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Avery; his brother Lonnie Avery; his mother-in-law Agnes Rich; his son Roger "Lupe" Rose; his granddaughter Jessica Rose; and his grandparents, Theresa Riggio, William and Edna Sellwood.
He is survived by: his wife Christie; his children, Wayne Rose (Stacey), Tracy Elder (JJ), Mike Rose (Jenny), Larry Rose (Chrissy), Shandi Hammilton and Jesse Rich; his mother Carol Avery; his siblings, Lisa (Fred) and Randy; his grandchildren, Kristi Blotti (Nick), Brianna Bianchi (Tony), Regan, Alicia, Damian, Samantha Rose and Isaac Schwieger; and his nieces and nephews, Tyler Lundeen, Austan Lundeen (Alyssa), Jamie Avery (Alyssa), Alec Avery, Samantha Halligan (Joshua), Kynze Lundeen, Faythe Youngstrand and Holly Avery. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
